IMD Forecasts Isolated Heavy Rainfall Across Several Regions During the Next Few Days

Imphal, Sept 21:   The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated heavy rainfall across several northeastern states in the coming days. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are expected to experience heavy rain until September 26, while Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya are likely to see downpours from September 23 to September 26.

In addition to the northeastern region, Odisha is forecast to receive heavy rainfall from tomorrow until September 24. Chhattisgarh is also likely to face isolated heavy rain during this period, with Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh expecting downpours from Tuesday to Thursday.

Elsewhere in the country, isolated to scattered light rain is expected across West and South Peninsular India over the next three days. Heavy rainfall is predicted in Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, and Goa on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the Gujarat region forecast to receive heavy rain on September 25 and 26.
