IMPHAL, June 19: Manipur Police on Wednesday, June 18, intercepted a white Gypsy vehicle bearing registration number MN 01AS 4499 at Jiribam Bazar and recovered a consignment of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL).

According to reports, the vehicle was being driven by 42-year-old Thingbaijam Sanjitkumar Singh, a resident of Leingangpokpi under Jiribam Police Station in Jiribam District.

Upon inspection, the police discovered the illicit consignment of IMFL inside the vehicle. Following due legal procedures, both the seized liquor and the driver were handed over to the Excise Department for further action.
