Further operations in Jiribam district, specifically in Ankhasu village, resulted in the recovery of nine improvised mortars (Pompi). In Imphal East district, intelligence-based operations in the general areas of Pourabi, Sawombung, and Kalika led to the recovery of six weapons.

In the district of Kangpokpi, a Cordon and Search Operation conducted in Khengang village, located 12 kilometers north of Leimakhong, resulted in the recovery of four weapons and the destruction of 12 bunkers. In the general area of Langmeithek Yerum Ching and Langathel in Thoubal district, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police jointly recovered eight weapons along with ammunition and war-like stores. Another similar operation in Moidangpok Khullen, located 4 km southeast of New Keithelmanbi in Imphal West, led to the recovery of six weapons.

These coordinated and successful operations demonstrate the commitment of the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and allied security forces in ensuring peace and stability in Manipur. The recovery of these weapons and the destruction of bunkers are significant steps towards curbing illegal activities and preventing further destabilization in the region.

The operations are part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in Manipur and counter any threats posed by armed insurgent groups. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, with further updates expected as more intelligence-based operations are carried out.
