KOHIMA, Dec 3: In anticipation of the 25th Hornbill Festival stone-pulling ceremony on December 4, the Kohima Police has issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth proceedings during the event.

The Kohima-Mao National Highway-02 stretch, specifically from Jakhama Military Station to Kisama Heritage Village’s second gate, will remain closed to traffic from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on the event day. To facilitate the diversion of traffic, alternative routes have been arranged for both passenger and Manipur-bound vehicles.
