Man Arrested With Psychotrophic Cough Syrups in Manipur’s Imphal East District

Imphal, October 23: Security Forces arrested an alleged drug peddler from Manipur’s Imphal East district and recovered psychotrophic cough syrups from his possession, police said on Thursday.

The alleged peddler has been identified as Sagomsungpham Sohail (26) and was arrested from his residential locality of Khomidok Mayai Leikai in Imphal East district.

91 bottles of psychotropic “TUSSEREX-TR Cough Syrup” along with cash of Rs 12,780 were recovered from his possession, police added.
