IMPHAL, Dec 5: Manipur governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Friday held discussions on the various aspects of the upcoming 4th state level Barak Festival including budget and programme schedules, a Lok Bhavan statement informed.

Bhalla, who chaired the meeting of the organising committee for the 4th State Level Barak Festival 2025 at Lok Bhavan Imphal, discussed various aspects of the festival, including budget, programme schedules, transportation, promotion, and the overall positioning of the Barak Festival as a popular tourist attraction in the state.
Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Administrative Secretaries, Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police, Senapati, along with stakeholders from the district, were present and deliberated on various topics.
Scheduled from 12 to 14 December 2025, the 4th edition of the State Level Barak Festival, 2025 will be celebrated under the theme ‘Heritage in Harmony’ at Zilipou, Senapati District.
The festival aims to showcase the rich cultural tapestry of the region while strengthening community participation and enhancing its visibility as a key cultural tourism event in Manipur, it said.
