SENAPATI, March 8: In a bid to restore normalcy and improve transportation in the state, the Manipur Government has launched bus and helicopter services under strict security measures. The services were officially rolled out on March 7, 2025, with the support of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) escorts, aiming to facilitate safe and reliable travel for the public.

The new initiative is designed to enhance connectivity between key locations in the state. Bus services are now operational, connecting Imphal, Kangpokpi, Senapati, and Churachandpur. Manipur State Transport (MST) buses began their operations from Imphal Airport, covering several routes, including the journey from Imphal to Kangpokpi and Senapati, as well as return services from Senapati to Kangpokpi and Imphal.
