Imphal, August 22: Manipur Police have arrested four individuals in Kakching district and seized over a kilogram of heroin in a major anti-narcotics operation.

The arrests were made at Wabagai Lamkhai Thongkha area under Kakching Police Station, where security forces intercepted the group and recovered 91 soap cases containing 1.12 kg of heroin powder. A Bolero vehicle, five mobile phones, and two Aadhaar cards were also confiscated.

The accused have been identified as:

• Thinmai Kaisidindou Liangmei (53) of Taban village, Tamenglong district
• Dinthuibou Chawang (27) of Tabam village, Tamenglong district
• Lunghipuiliu (37) of Kawalong, Tamenglong district
• Nanathongliu (42) of Makui village, Kangpokpi district
