Senapati, July 18: In a commendable display of civic action, the Manipur Police, in collaboration with the Drivers Union Senapati on Thursday, carried out road repair work on the bypass connecting Chakabama (Nagaland) to Martyr’s Park in Senapati district.

The intervention came after multiple vehicles were reported stranded due to the deteriorated condition of the road. With the repairs completed, traffic movement along the route has now resumed.

Beyond the repair work, the police extended humanitarian assistance by distributing snacks, drinking water, and other essential supplies to stranded truck drivers, offering relief amid difficult conditions.
