IMPHAL, April 29: In the aftermath of the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Manipur Police have announced a statewide “survey and verification” drive aimed at identifying illegal Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals residing in the state without valid documentation, an official said on Tuesday.

The operation will focus on several key areas within the Imphal Valley, including Lilong, Minuthong, Kwakta, Mayang Imphal, Sora, and Kairang, among others. According to the official, these are locations where there have been reports of Bangladeshi or Pakistani nationals staying without valid visas or Inner Line Permits (ILPs).
