IMPHAL, Dec 19: Four representatives of the Maram Union called on Governor of Manipur Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Lok Bhavan, Imphal on Friday, an official statement informed.

They briefed Governor about the grievances and challenges being faced by the Maram people, it said.

They also briefed Governor on issues related to recognition and documentation of the Maram traditional system, preservation of monoliths and heritage sites, promotion of the Maram dialect, support for cultural festivals and development of horticulture initiative, it said.
