OKING, Dec 4: The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has strongly refuted claims made by the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) in a press release dated December 1, 2024. The Public Information Bureau (PIB) of the Naga Army dismissed the ZUF’s assertions as “misleading and malicious,” describing them as “a hopeless grumbling from fringe elements.”

In its response, the GPRN stated that mainstream leaders of the Zeliangrong community remain dedicated to the larger Naga cause, aligning themselves with the vision of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN). The statement accused the Zeliangrong Tiger Force (ZTF), affiliated with ZUF, of being an “Indian-sponsored reactionary force,” allegedly armed and supported by Indian security agencies.

The GPRN further alleged that the ZTF’s primary objective is to hinder the progress of the Naga Army by exploiting tribal divisions and playing a narrow tribalistic card. It emphasized that such actions were designed to disrupt the unity of the Naga movement.

Reaffirming their stance, the Naga Army pledged to defend every inch of Naga ancestral land, irrespective of geographical boundaries, against all external and internal threats. The GPRN reiterated the importance of unity and resilience among the Naga people in safeguarding their cultural and territorial heritage.
