Senapati, October 9: Students of Levels 9 and 10 from The Naga Public School (NPS), Koide Büsho, embarked on an enriching Educational Tour to Imphal on 9th October 2025, sponsored by the Forest Department, Senapati Division.

As part of the tour, the students participated in the Grand Finale of the 71st Wildlife Week Celebration held at the City Convention Centre, Imphal, which was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur as Chief Guest. The students also visited the Manipur Zoological Garden, where they had the rare opportunity to see the Sangai (brow-antlered deer) — Manipur’s state animal — along with several other wildlife species.
The NPS management expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Shri Shanngam S., IFS, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Senapati Division, and his team for facilitating this valuable opportunity. The initiative was especially meaningful as it enabled economically underprivileged students to learn and explore beyond classroom boundaries.

The school also encouraged other departments and NGOs in Senapati to undertake similar initiatives that expose students from remote areas to wider educational experiences and environmental learning.
For many of the participating students, this marked their first-ever visit to Imphal, making the journey not only educational and inspiring, but also a memorable life experience
