Kohima, August 30: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on Friday elected a new leadership team for the 2025–2027 tenure, with Mteisuding Heraang, representing the All Zeliangrong Students’ Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland), taking charge as the new president.
The election was conducted during the 31st General Conference of the NSF held at Tseminyu, where Heraang emerged victorious, defeating three other candidates in the presidential race.
Alongside the president, a new executive body was also elected. The team includes Vimeyiekho Vitso as vice president, Kenilo Kent as general secretary, Veze Tunyi as assistant general secretary, Thejalhoukho Thomas Khawakhrie as social and culture secretary, Ajo Tsela as education secretary, Katho P. Awomi as finance secretary, Temjentoshi as publicity and information secretary, and Mariko O. Leriina as Federal Assembly Speaker.
