Nagaland’s Tallest Man Captivates Crowds at Hornbill Festival

KOHIMA, Dec 4 (NNN): Yungan Khampai Konyak standing at 6′ 9″ (6 feet 9 inches tall), officially known to be the tallest man in Nagaland, is calmly participating at the ongoing Hornbill Festival.

Standing tall, cladded in traditional attires, wishing visitors and well wishers with a rare smile, thereby creating an atmosphere of curiosity and excitement.

The Konyak community considers Yungan as a gift of God, and they say his presence at the Hornbill Festival is a joy as well as a blessing to all the Nagas. His presence not only enhances the festival vibes but also entices tourists and visitors to the Konyak Morung.

YunganKhamoai is 24 years old, weighs 120 kg and hails from Longwawasa village under Mon district of Nagaland. He comes from a family of five siblings.

Visitors at the Hornbill Festival are flocking to Konyak Morung to have a look at the tallest man in Nagaland and get a photograph with him.
