SENAPATI, Oct 29: Manipur Police arrested three alleged drug peddlers and recovered contraband ganja weighing around 9 kg in Senapati district, police said on Tuesday.

The three were arrested from T Khullen along the NH-2 under Senapati-PS in Senapati district on Monday, police said.

The arrested were identified as Mohammad Shoaib Alam (22) of K.R. Lane, Golapati, Imphal East; Sunir Phundreimayum (21) of Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai, Thoubal; and Kh. Rafique (22) of Yaripok Bamon Leikai, Thoubal.

Seventeen packages of contraband Ganja weighing around 9 Kgs and three luggage bags were recovered from their possesion.
