New Delhi, September 25: The Prime Minister’s Mementos e-Auction 2025 has begun, showcasing over 1,300 rare and unique gifts received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a special spotlight on the rich cultural heritage of North East India. The online auction, open at pmmementos.gov.in until October 2, gives citizens the chance to bid for exquisite artifacts while contributing to the Namami Gange Project.

This year’s highlights include handcrafted items and cultural symbols from Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. Nagaland’s entries feature a wooden sculpture of a Mithun, the state’s cultural icon, and a traditional Naga shawl bearing red panels and motifs of spear and shield—symbols of honor and courage. Meghalaya offers a finely crafted cane ship model, representing the state’s mastery of bamboo and cane.
