NEW DELHI, March 26: In a demonstration held at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, organized by the INDIA alliance students’ organization, NSUI Manipur President Shri Joyson Kh raised serious concerns about the deteriorating education system and safety issues affecting students in Manipur.
During the protest, Joyson Kh highlighted several critical issues, including the continuous paper leaks in HSLC and COHSEM examinations, which have severely impacted the integrity of Manipur’s education system. He also brought attention to disturbing reports of violence at relief camps, where students have allegedly faced rape and murder.
Furthermore, he criticized the non-disbursement of scholarships for more than two years, which has left many students struggling financially and unable to continue their education.
Demanding fair and accessible democratic education in Manipur, Joyson Kh strongly opposed the UGC draft 2025 and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
