IMPHAL, March 15: The much-anticipated annual sports meet of Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me, Imphal (PNTMI) officially kicked off on Friday at the DM College of Science in Imphal. The event, which will run for three days and conclude on March 16, 2025, is held under the theme “Play with Passion, Win with Pride.” This year’s meet promises to be a thrilling showcase of athletic talent and sportsmanship.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Saveio Khole, Vice President of BJYM Manipur State and Member of the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC); Mohmai Pozii Philemon, Managing Director of Biosys Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd.; J Dalounii Angam, President of Poumai Tsiidoumai Me; and contractor LA Mooteakha. The event also saw the presence of leaders from various student organizations.
A total of 11 teams are participating in this year’s sports meet, which will feature a wide range of competitions including football, volleyball, basketball, races, tug of war, and several entertainment events. These events are categorized into senior, junior, and sub-junior levels, ensuring a broad representation of participants across different age groups.
