Senapati, August 25: In a proud and trailblazing moment for the Poumai community, P. Veiloutsii, a young athlete from Kathikho village, Senapati, has made history by becoming the first-ever Poumai bodybuilder to compete at the prestigious ICN (iCompete Natural) Deccan Uprising 2025 held on August 23 and 24 at the SR Classic Convention Centre, Shamshabad, Hyderabad.
The two-day event received a massive response, featuring over 400 athletes from across India and overseas, all competing in a range of categories including bodybuilding, fitfashion, fitness modelling, and transformation categories — promoting a clean, drug-free fitness culture on a global platform.

Veiloutsii showcased outstanding performance. He achieved a Top 10 finish in Classic Physique, and made a remarkable impact by securing 5th place overall in Men’s Physique, standing out among some of the sharpest and most experienced natural athletes.
This was also his first-ever competition, making his performance even more commendable.
This milestone marks not only a personal victory but also a significant achievement for the Poumai community, where the spirit of fitness and competitive bodybuilding is still growing. His journey is expected to inspire a new wave of health-conscious and driven youth in the region to pursue natural fitness, sports, and bodybuilding with passion and integrity.

Organised by ICN India and ICN UAE, Deccan Uprising 2025 is India’s premier platform for natural fitness competitions, known for its strict anti-doping protocols — including urine sample testing sent to the U.S. to ensure clean sport. The event was powered by Wellversed and saw attendance from celebrities, including Tollywood actor Allu Sirish, who graced the occasion as a special guest.
