Scorpions Announce India Tour After Nearly Two Decades

MUMBAI, Jan 8: German hard rock legends Scorpions have announced their return to India with the ‘Coming Home’ tour in April 2026, marking their first performances in the country in almost 20 years. The four-city tour is being produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live.

The band will perform in Shillong on April 21 at JN Stadium, followed by shows in Delhi-NCR on April 24 at HUDA Grounds, Bengaluru on April 26 at NICE Grounds, and Mumbai on April 30 at Jio Gardens, Bandra Kurla Complex. The tour is part of Bandland On Tour, an extension of BookMyShow Live’s Bandland property focused on rock and alternative music.

Ticket sales will be released in phases, starting with an artist pre-sale on January 14, followed by a Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card pre-sale on January 15. General ticket sales will open on January 17, 2026, exclusively on BookMyShow.

Expressing excitement over the return, vocalist Klaus Meine said the band is looking forward to reconnecting with Indian fans after a long gap. Guitarists Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs described the India tour as a milestone, calling the ‘Coming Home’ concerts a special celebration for both the band and their audience.

Formed in 1965, Scorpions are among the most successful rock bands globally, having sold over 120 million records worldwide. The band is known for iconic songs such as Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You and Wind of Change, and classic albums including Love at First Sting, Blackout and Crazy World.
