SENAPATI, Dec 8 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioner of Senapati Mamoni Doley, flagged off Senapati Barak Half Marathon on Monday morning at Astro Turf Senapati as curtain raiser to the 4th Edition of State Barak Festival 2025 under the theme “Run For Harmony.”
The programme was organised as part of Barak Festival 2025 in collaboration with District Administration, Senapati Police, Indian Red Cross Society and Senapati Medical Department.
Around 1000 persons participated in today’s Barak Half Marathon on three categories featuring 5kms, 10kms and 21 kms run. All the winners and runners up of all the categories were felicitated with medals and cash prizes.
All the event categories prize of today’s event was generously sponsored by State Bank of India as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The event aimed to bring fitness, gratitude, togetherness and renew of bonds with nature and community.
