Senapati, October 4: The Senapati District Science Exhibition 2025 commenced on October 3 at the Multi-purpose Hall, opposite the DC Office Complex, Senapati. The event was organised by the Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA) with the objective of promoting scientific literacy, innovation, and creativity among students of all educational institutions in the district.
The event was graced by Martha Padma, RTE SSA. It also saw the presence of senior student leaders and teachers from various schools across Senapati. In her address, she highlighted the importance of implementing the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, noting that the education system has witnessed significant changes under its framework.
Held under the theme “Curiosity Today, Innovation Tomorrow”, the exhibition aims to provide a platform for students to explore scientific concepts, apply their knowledge in a creative and practical manner, and present their projects to a wider audience. The initiative is designed not only to strengthen students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills but also to nurture a deeper passion for science and innovation.
The exhibition showcased a wide range of projects from different levels – 17 projects from high schools, 13 from higher secondary schools, and 5 projects from colleges. Students demonstrated models and experiments reflecting their innovative ideas, scientific inquiry, and practical applications of classroom knowledge.
The event will continue till October 4.
