Senapati, September 6: The Senapati Entrepreneurs Association, in collaboration with the Coffee Board of India, successfully concluded a five-day Barista Coffee Training Program at The Buddy Brews, Senapati. The program, which wrapped up yesterday, received high praise from participants for its interactive sessions and the expertise of master trainer Yathish Gowda.

Though some of the participants initially expressed concerns about the intensity of the five-day schedule, their apprehensions quickly turned into enthusiasm as the training sessions proved to be both fascinating and interactive. Several trainees expressed interest in enrolling in advanced courses to further refine their skills, underscoring the program’s appeal and effectiveness.

The closing ceremony was marked by the presence of several notable dignitaries, including Shri T Panmei, Commissioner(Horticulture & Soil Conservation and Sericulture), Government of Manipur, and and Shri Anthony Sille, Former Director (HRD&E), NEC, Govt of India. Also present at the ceremony was the Commissioner’s wife, who joined the trainees in celebration, as well as a participant who traveled from Imphal and Ukhrul to attend the program, an inspiring gesture that motivated fellow trainees.

Addressing the gathering, Kibambe Felix, Vice President of the Senapati Entrepreneurs Association, congratulated the trainees on their achievement and urged them to apply their newfound skills in practical ventures. He emphasized the value of the certification they received and highlighted the importance of developing entrepreneurship in the coffee sector. Felix also expressed gratitude to the Coffee Board of India for making the training affordable and accessible to aspiring coffee entrepreneurs.

Echoing similar sentiments, Shylock Taishya, President of the Association, extended heartfelt thanks to the Coffee Board of India and trainer Yatish Gowda for their collaboration and contribution to the success of the training. With this training, the stage is set for Senapati’s budding coffee entrepreneurs to brew up a storm and make their mark in the industry.
