Imphal, September 19 (NNN): Thadou Inpi Manipur (TIM), Thadou Inpi Mizoram (TIMZ), and Thadou Inpi Assam (TIA) have jointly announced that the last rites of “Thadou and Manipur Peace Martyr Pu Nehkam Jomhao, (59 years)”, were performed on September 13, 2025 at Thadou Veng, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam, with full honours in accordance with Thadou customs and Christian rituals. Thadou people from across India and around the world participated both physically and virtually to pay their final respects and stand in solidarity with the cause for which he gave his life, a joint statement of the three Thadou organisations said today.
