Three Winners Crowned at Mega Mister North East Pageant 2024

GUWAHATI, Jan 31: The Mega Mister North East Pageant 2024 reached a spectacular conclusion on January 30, with three winners crowned in a grand finale held at the ITA Cultural Complex in Machkhowa.

Salkwachnag Debbarma from Tripura, Nawang Dondup from Arunachal Pradesh, and Nikhil Okram from Manipur triumphed as the top contenders in the prestigious event, which celebrated the talent and charisma of young men from across Northeast India.

A total of 54 finalists from the region competed in the event, which also featured Mister International 2024, Fran Zafra from Spain, as a special guest. One of the three winners will represent India at the upcoming Mister International pageant, marking a significant milestone in their careers.

The winners were awarded prize packages valued at over Rs 50,000 each, alongside professional representation from Mega Entertainment. This includes opportunities for brand collaborations, fashion events, and exclusive photoshoots throughout the year.

In the lead-up to the finale, contestants underwent intensive grooming and training in Guwahati. The event, supported by the Ministry of Tourism under the Incredible India campaign, also emphasized the promotion of Northeast India’s cultural heritage and tourism potential.

Set Wet returned as the title sponsor for the second consecutive year, while Mega Entertainment, founded by fashion entrepreneur Abhijeet Singha, organized the event. The pageant continues to serve as a significant platform for showcasing the talent, diversity, and cultural richness of Northeast India on the global stage.
