Hojai, Oct 2:   A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning when two youths were struck and killed by a speeding train in Hojai, Assam. The victims, Aftab Ali and Sharifuddin, were both residents of the Bhuyanpatty area and were sitting on the railway tracks while engrossed in mobile games.

Reports indicate that the duo was wearing headphones while playing online games, which caused them to be unaware of the approaching train. Their distraction ultimately led to the fatal accident.

Locals attempted to assist the victims, but it was too late, as both were hit by the train and died instantly before medical help could arrive. The police have initiated an investigation to uncover further details surrounding the incident.
