Young Mountaineer Bhukya Yashwanth Summits Mizoram’s Highest Peak, Completes 5-State Feat Under ‘Har Shikhar Par Tiranga’ Mission

AIZAWL, May 9: Bhukya Yashwanth, a young mountaineer from Telangana, has successfully summited Phawngpui (Blue Mountain), the highest peak in Mizoram. This marks his fifth successful state summit under the nationwide campaign “Har Shikhar Par Tiranga,” where he aims to unfurl the Indian Tricolor atop the tallest peaks in all 28 Indian states.

With this achievement, Yashwanth has now completed ascents of the highest peaks in Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, Rajasthan, and Mizoram. From the summit, he delivered a powerful message to the youth of India: “Say No to Drugs, Say No to Betting Apps – Say Yes to Life,” reflecting his mission to encourage strength, discipline, and purposeful living.

As part of this campaign, Yashwanth has scaled Mount Gorichen in Arunachal Pradesh (6,858 meters), Betalongchhip in Tripura (930 meters), Mount Iso in Manipur (2,994 meters), Guru Shikhar in Rajasthan (1,722 meters), and Phawngpui in Mizoram (2,157 meters).

In addition to these state summits, Yashwanth’s mountaineering record includes international and national feats such as Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (5,895 meters), Mount Elbrus in Russia (5,642 meters), Mount Kosciuszko in Australia (2,228 meters), Mount Yunam in Himachal Pradesh (6,111 meters), Mount Kang Yatse II in Ladakh (6,250 meters), and the Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal (5,364 meters).

His broader goal is to scale the highest peaks of all Indian states and complete the Seven Summits of the world, representing India and especially its youth on global heights. Coming from a tribal background, his journey is a testament to how dreams backed by courage can overcome all odds and reach the highest summits.

Yashwanth expressed his gratitude to the people of Mizoram, his supporters, and well-wishers, acknowledging their continued encouragement and support throughout his journey.
