In another successful operation driven by specific intelligence, Assam Rifles uncovered a significant cache of weapons in Tamlok Village, Noney District, Manipur, on June 1, 2024.

The recovered cache comprised a range of weapons and war-like stores, including two carbine machine guns, two 9mm pistols, three .32 caliber pistols, one revolver, one Chinese hand grenade, one grenade-based Improvised Explosive Device (IED), and various other items.

This operation deals a heavy blow to the activities of banned outfits in the region, particularly following the recent general election results. It marks a noteworthy achievement for the Security Forces in their ongoing mission to uphold peace and security.

All recovered items have been handed over to the Noney Police Station for further legal proceedings.
