Bihar Police have initiated a probe following a threatening email received by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in Patna. On July 16, the email, sent from an anonymous account and allegedly linked to Al-Qaeda, threatened to bomb the CMO building and claimed that the state’s special police would be powerless to stop it.

The alarming message prompted a swift response from both local police and the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS). An FIR was filed on August 2 at Sachiwalaya police station, based on a report by Station House Officer Sanjeev Kumar.
