Assam Rifles distributed three sewing machines to Women Society of Agnes Kha Tailoring Cum Embroidery Institute in Senapati District, Manipur on 18 June 2024. This initiative of Assam Rifles is in line with the request made by the women society of the institute for the sewing machines.
The Women expressed their gratitude and appreciated this gesture of Assam Rifles wholeheartedly. It was also assured to the women and attendees that Assam Rifles is working towards achieving common goal of peace and development in the area and actions are being undertaken to keep the area peaceful with assistance of local populace.
Through such initiatives Assam Rifles is reaching at grassroots level to bring overall development and growth of Manipur by working in harmony with the local populace.
