Senapati: 3rd May 2024.
It has come to our attention that a post circulating on Facebook, shared by Walnut Cracker, alleging the involvement of three girls in the rape of a boy, is completely false and misleading. We hereby clarify that the information shared in the post is inaccurate and not based on facts.
The actual incident pertains to three girls who were reported missing after Easter Sunday. Following an extensive search effort, they were found on April 17th. Subsequently, the matter was addressed by the Senapati District Women’s Association (SDWA), who issued a warning to the girls to refrain from such behavior in the future.
However, despite the warning, two of the girls went missing again and have not been traced to date. Concerned about their well-being, their parents have filed a missing report at the Senapati Police Station.
We urge the public to refrain from spreading false information and to verify the accuracy of posts before sharing them on social media. Misinformation can have serious consequences and can harm individuals and communities. Let us strive to promote responsible and factual communication.
