Senapati: May 4, 2024
The Senapati District Women Association (SDWA) and Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) have come together to address a concerning issue surfacing on Facebook. They’ve responded to a viral post that has stirred up worry in the community, claiming that three minor girls were involved in the rape of a boy. Both organizations want to set the record straight, stressing that the information in the post is completely false and unfounded.
According to the clarification provided by SDWA and SDSA, the viral post distorts the truth about an incident concerning the disappearance of three minor girls. Contrary to what the post suggests, these girls weren’t involved in any such case rather, they went missing from their homes and were eventually found and returned to their families.
Moreover, there’s another misleading post circulating on social media depicting someone being beaten up for allegedly spreading fake news. However, reliable sources reveal that this person actually helped the missing girls escaped during the search. Such misrepresentation not only spreads falsehoods but also damages the credibility of those involved.
SDWA and SDSA stress the importance of verifying information before sharing it on social media. They urge the public to be cautious and avoid spreading rumors or false accusations that could harm individuals’ reputations and cause unnecessary panic in the community.
Both organizations are committed to truth and transparency. They encourage anyone with questions or concerns to reach out directly for accurate information.
This joint clarification serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to ensure accurate information is shared and to uphold the dignity and rights of individuals in our community.
