Assam Rifles organised a Friendly Basketball Match with the team of Senapati District Olympic Association of Manipur at Battalion Headquarters of Assam Rifles at Maram, Senapati district, Manipur on 27 May 2024. The thrilling match saw an exhilarating exhibition of sporting skills.
In order to promote games and sports in Senapati district the Assam Rifles has organised various sports activities under ‘Fit India Campaign’ & ‘Khelo India Mission’. These activities play an important role in encouraging a sense of team work, competition and also instill values like discipline, perseverance and above all camaraderie amongst the youth.
The youth lauded this initiative of Assam Rifles. To mark the culmination of the event, Commandant of Assam Rifles battalion gave away prizes to outstanding performers.
