Swapnanil Talukdar: Honorary Advisor to CMTV NE India

Swapnanil Talukdar is a renowned strategy consultant by profession and an innovator and entrepreneur by passion. Known popularly as “A Social Engineer,” Swapnanil has made significant contributions to the fields of science, technology, and social innovation. His work has earned him numerous prestigious accolades, including the IGNITE-14 Award, presented by the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India, at IIM-Ahmedabad. He was also selected for the Innovation Scholars In-Residence Program at Rashtrapati Bhawan and has received the Ninth National Grassroots Technology Innovation and Traditional Knowledge Award by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). Additionally, the Indian Youth Forum recognized him with the Youth Award for his contributions to science and technology.

Early Life and Education

Swapnanil’s journey of innovation began during his school days, where he actively participated in various scientific activities and competitions. With a keen interest in impact-driven projects with commercial viability, he received support from his school management, ASTEC – Patent Cell, and the Regional Science Museum, Khanapara. He completed his Grade XII from MVM and went on to pursue higher studies in Electronics and Communication.

Professional Achievements

As the founder of Aryabhatta Consultancy and Social Engineer Academy, Swapnanil has demonstrated his commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. He believes in the power of empathy-based leadership to drive change and highlights the characteristics of a true changemaker as being conscious of sustainable innovations, impact creation, and maintaining excellence. Swapnanil’s professional journey is marked by his participation in various national and international events, including NASA’s International Space Education Institute (ISEI) in Germany for developing space vehicles, National Taiwan University, the Y2Y Summit in Hong Kong, Sweden, and Dubai, and the Harvard US-India Initiative in Mumbai.

Strategic Contributions

In his professional career, Swapnanil has served as a strategist for several organizations, including GEV, ISKCON Mumbai, Margdarshak Advisory in Guwahati, Spiela in the UK, Together We Dream in Uttar Pradesh, KIT91 in Noida, and the IDYM Foundation in Bihar. He is currently an empanelled consultant for the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship and has also worked as the Program Officer at Assam Kaziranga University.

Personal Philosophy

Swapnanil embraces the belief that empathy-based leaders can bring about meaningful change. His mantra for a true changemaker is one who is conscious of sustainable innovations or start-up ideas achieved through impact creation and excellence.
