“Ukhrul’s Ura Trust Centre celebrated the conclusion of a three-week workshop on Hao Laa, a traditional Tangkhul folk song, on July 28, 2024. The workshop, which began on July 8, aimed to revive and standardize the ancient art form. Participants showcased their newfound skills at UBC Ukhrul’s Sunday morning service. Vareishang Phungshok of Ura Trust announced plans to develop a standardized syllabus for schools and colleges, inviting churches, schools, and colleges to join the revival journey. The trust expressed heartfelt thanks to supporters, resource person Guru AS Rawung, and participants for their contributions.
