New Delhi: The Naga Students’ Union Delhi (NSUD), successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on August 17, in collaboration with the Special Police Unit for North East Region (SPUNER), AIIMS Delhi, BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, and Fortis Hospital.
The initiative aimed to ensure a steady supply of blood for Naga patients in urgent need. To facilitate donor participation, three donation sites were set up across the partnering hospitals.
Sh. P.N. Khrimey, IPS, Joint Commissioner for SPUNER and Nodal Officer for the NE Region, and Sh. Kuolie Mere, Deputy Director of IPR, Government of Nagaland, visited the donation sites and commended the union and donors for their selfless contributions.
Over 80 participants from the Naga community and beyond took part in the event. The union expressed hope that the camp would significantly benefit patients and plans to host larger events in the future.
