Senapati, September 1: The Senapati Entrepreneurs Association (SEA) convened its General Body Meeting on Saturday, at De Indigenous Hub, located above HDFC Bank in Senapati Bazar. The meeting, which began at 11:30 AM, brought together members of the association to review the organization’s activities, discuss future plans, and address key organizational matters.

Kibambe Felix, the General Secretary of SEA, presented reports during the meeting, providing insights into the association’s progress and challenges. A significant part of the discussion focused on reviewing the by-laws of the organization to ensure they remain relevant and effective in guiding the association’s activities.

The meeting also delved into budget considerations and explored creative fundraising ideas. Members proposed organizing a cleanliness drive as part of a broader fund drive, along with the introduction of a SEA-dedicated day featuring games and activities aimed at fostering community engagement and raising funds.

The General Body Meeting led to a unanimous decision to extend the current Executive Committee’s tenure of SEA’s leadership until the next financial year, i.e. 31st of March 2025, to allow them to complete several key projects that had been delayed.

New appointments were also made during the meeting, with R. Theophilus Rangmathat named as the Chief of the Election Committee, alongside members Raziile Kayina and Thaovei Mikri. The Auditor team will be headed by Paode SH, with Stephen Kadete and K.T. Sounai as members. These committees will ensure the smooth and transparent operation of the Association moving forward.

The meeting highlighted the association’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in Senapati and the collective efforts to drive positive change in the community.
