Senapati, Sept 4: The Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA) has issued an urgent notice to all shopkeepers and vendors in the district in response to the closure of National Highway 2 (AH-1) in Nagaland. The closure has led to reports of sudden inflation and hoarding of essential commodities in the local market.
To maintain a healthy market environment, the SDSA has urged the business community to adhere to standard market rates and refrain from hoarding goods. The association also appealed to the general public not to panic or purchase goods in excessive quantities, emphasizing the need for calm and normalcy.
The SDSA has warned that any defaulters who fail to comply with these directives will face strict actions from the association.
The information has been conveyed to essential district authorities, including the Deputy Commissioner, the CEO of the Autonomous District Council, the Naga People’s Organisation (NPO), the Senapati District Women’s Association (SDWA), and the Town Committee, to ensure comprehensive awareness and coordinated response to the situation.
