In a joint effort to improve road safety and raise awareness of traffic regulations, the Senapati District Police and Karong-Senapati Town Committee are set to host a two-day Legal Awareness Programme on Traffic Rules and Regulations. The event will be held on September 10th and 11th, 2024, at the Mini Stadium Hall in Senapati, Manipur.
The programme is designed to educate the public on critical traffic laws and promote adherence to road safety measures. The first day will include several sessions covering on topics such as traffic offenses, law enforcement, and accident investigation. Notable speakers include Shri Thangkhochon Haokip, Addl. SP (L/O), and Sub-Inspector Talu Marcus, who will share insights into legal enforcement and accident response.
The second day will also feature discussions on Motor Vehicle Driving Regulations and traffic enforcement strategies, with presentations by Inspector Timothy Ronamai and Shri M.L. Kaisungbou, Addl. SP (NH-2).
This initiative is aimed at increasing awareness and compliance with traffic regulations, promoting safer roads and more responsible driving within the community. Expert talks and discussions will equip attendees with a deeper understanding of traffic laws and enforcement strategies.
