Moreh:    Assam Rifles successfully intercepted a drug smuggling attempt near L. Phungchong village, close to the Indo-Myanmar border, during a routine Area Domination Patrol. The patrol team discovered an abandoned two-wheeler by the roadside and noticed an individual emerging from nearby woods. However, the person fled into the dense forest after spotting the troops.

Upon inspecting the vehicle, the Assam Rifles team found nine full packets and one torn packet of WIY (World is Yours) tablets, weighing a total of 11.493 kilograms. The seized drugs are estimated to be worth approximately ₹3 crore in the international market.
