Senapati, Sept 23: The Poumai Naga Tsiidomai Me (PNTM) has ushered in a new era of leadership with the election of its executive members for the 2024-2027 term. The election was held at Karong Community Hall, marking the commencement of their leadership journey and setting a bold vision for the upcoming years.

Leading the executive committee is President J Dalounii Angam from Khongdei Village, with Ng. Robinson from Oinam Hill as Vice President. The team also includes J Pangao from Purul Akutpa as Secretary and L Hiilinii Chao from Thingba Khunou as Assistant General Secretary (AGS).

Other significant roles within the executive committee are held by L Shepou from Khabung Karong as Game & Sports Secretary, Threson from Keize as Education Secretary, Ng Hravei from Tungjoy as Publicity Secretary, and Shozii from Saranamai as Social and Cultural Secretary. Bonny Thro from Chingmai Khullen will manage financial responsibilities, while Kovei James from Lakhamai takes on the role of Assistant Game & Sports Secretary.

Additionally, Livingston L from Saranamai has been appointed as the Assembly Speaker, further strengthening the leadership structure.

During the meeting, the team focused on outlining their goals and plans for the next three years, emphasizing the importance of unity and proactive leadership in addressing the needs and aspirations of the Poumai Naga community. The newly elected executive is expected to bring fresh energy and perspectives, with a strong commitment to promoting cultural heritage, educational advancement, and community welfare.

The gathering concluded with a reaffirmation of their dedication to serving the community and fostering collaboration among the various Poumai Naga villages. 

As this new chapter in PNTM leadership unfolds, it is anticipated that their efforts will bring positive changes and strengthen the bonds within the Poumai Naga community.
