Dinajpur, Sept 25: The Border Security Force (BSF) has lodged a strong protest with the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) following an incident in which a BSF jawan was abducted by a group of Bangladeshi miscreants during a routine patrol near the Biral border in Dinajpur, India. Reports indicate that 15 to 20 individuals crossed into Indian territory, forcibly taking the jawan across the border into Bangladesh, where he was subsequently held by the BGB.

In a swift response, BSF officials engaged in discussions with their BGB counterparts. Following negotiations, the abducted jawan was returned safely to Indian authorities. The BSF expressed its appreciation for the BGB’s cooperation in resolving the incident.
