Ngaopuo Masouhrii Lawrence and his brother Hriivio James, born to Mr. Ashe Ngaopuo and Mrs. M Shesherou in Tunggam (Khumai) village, Senapati district, Manipur, have become an inspiration to many. Coming from a family of eight siblings, their journey is a testament to determination and discipline. Lawrence recently secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 297 in the CAPF AC 2023 exam, while James cleared the MPSC prelims alongside him. Their achievements, rising from humble beginnings, represent not only personal success but the potential to inspire an entire generation.
In September 2022, the brothers co-founded Barak Rising Star Academy, with James as the Director and Lawrence serving as a mentor. The academy has already made its mark, offering coaching for prestigious exams such as UPSC, MPSC, CDS, CAPF, SSC, and various banking exams. James has an impressive record, has appeared in UPSC IAS/IPS mains, MPSC mains, CAPF AC interview and cleared the written stages of SSC CPO.
Barak Rising Star Academy has become a beacon for students, especially from remote and tribal areas. The institute has successfully guided nine qualified students through tier 1 exams for Sub- Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPF 2024, and the institute have helped secure one SBI PO during 2023, six SSC GD all in BSF during 2020-2024 and one agniveer during 2023. Lawrence and James’s vision is not just about achieving personal milestones but providing others with the opportunity to succeed, offering mentorship and guidance to those who might otherwise have no access to quality education.
The brothers’ work is already creating waves, empowering the youth with the skills and confidence needed to tackle some of India’s toughest competitive exams.
