Imphal, Oct 6:    Martin Irengbam from Manipur, who is representing India, made an impressive mark at the Mister Top Model of Universe Contest in Istanbul on Saturday by securing 1st Runner-Up position. The 18-year-old also took home the subtitles of Best Physique, Best Face, and Best walk.

Currently a first-year B.Sc. student at Manipur University, Martin is originally from Kakching Khunou Thongam Leikai. He is the son of army personnel Hemchandra and homemaker Ronibala.

Before his international success, Martin had already earned recognition by winning the title of Mega Mister North East 2024. His achievements underscore the growing talent emerging from Northeast India, motivating and inspiring many young people in the region.
