IMPHAL, Oct 28: Nineteen-year-old Ningombam Jairaj has made a remarkable impact on the international modeling scene by earning the “Super Model” title at the Mr. Cosmopolitan 2024 pageant held in Korat, Thailand. Representing India, Jairaj captivated both the audience and judges with his charm, confidence, and outstanding poise, achieving a notable milestone for emerging talent in the modeling world.
The son of senior journalist Sanajaoba Ningombam and N. Petshwori, Jairaj is currently studying for a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) at Dhanamanjuri University (DMU). His modeling career began last year, showcasing his evident passion for the field. In 2023, he secured the title of Mr. Cosmopolitan India during an event organized by Global Model India, which opened the doors for his participation on the global stage.
With this recent triumph in Thailand, Jairaj has brought pride to India, particularly to his home state of Manipur. His success serves as an inspiration for aspiring models in the region, highlighting the potential for young talent from the North East to excel internationally.
