GANGTOK, Nov 5: In an significant achievement for India, Jetshen Dohna Lama has been selected to represent India at the second International Children’s Songwriting Summit, titled “Our Generation 2024.” This esteemed event, focusing on the theme “Music Without Borders,” is scheduled to occur in Kazan, Russia, from November 10 to 17, 2024.
Jetshen, a talented young artist and winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs, will join other young musicians from around the world to showcase their artistic talents and engage through the universal medium of music. The summit serves as an exceptional platform for these budding artists to collaborate and share their creative expressions.
Co-organized by the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI), the summit aims to enhance economic cooperation among BRICS+ countries, including Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, among others. Over the last decade, BRICS CCI has significantly broadened its influence, fostering innovation and creating valuable networking opportunities.
The summit enjoys support from prominent organizations such as the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and the Center of Creative Development “Academy of Contemporary Art,” founded by renowned Russian artist Igor Krutoy. Additionally, the event is linked to Russia’s chairmanship of the BRICS nations, adding to its global relevance.
