OMAN, Dec 5: In a thrilling final of the Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2024, the Indian hockey team on Wednesday triumphed over arch-rivals Pakistan with a 5-3 victory, securing their record-extending fifth title. The match, held in Muscat, was an emotional rollercoaster as both teams fought fiercely for the prestigious trophy, with India staging a remarkable comeback after trailing early in the game.
Pakistan started strong, with Sufyan Khan scoring twice and Hannan Shahid adding another to give them a 3-1 lead.
