In response to the current situation in Manipur, a combined team of security forces conducted combing operations in Senapati district on June 26, 2024. The operation, aimed at maintaining law and order, was led by Senapati District Police, including OC Mao PS Inspector Worchipem Ngalung, SI King Chawang, ASI Aaron of SPT-PS, two Lady Police officers from WPS-SPT, and a section of D-173 CRPF led by ASI Samar Sarkar.
The team carried out the operation in Viewland and Makhreliu villages under the supervision of SP Senapati. During the operation, 30 males and 15 females were verified. Fortunately, no arrests or seizures were made.
In addition to the combing operations, the combined teams met with village elders to reinforce the importance of maintaining peace and normalcy in the district. This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Senapati police and security forces to ensuring the safety and security of the community.
