Tamenglong, July 30 – A heartbreaking incident occurred last night in Dimthanlong village, Tamenglong ward no 3, when a sudden landslide claimed the lives of a mother and her child. The victims were residing in the dwelling house of Mr. Ringsinlung Kahmei, a resident of Tabanglong village, Tamenglong.

The landslide struck at around 11:30 pm, catching the family off guard. Mr. Kahmei himself suffered critical injuries and is scheduled to be airlifted to Imphal for urgent medical attention.
